Every month we give you the chance to give back to others, by nominating a Hero from your life to win a year of free custom flags. January’s “Hero Love Campaign” will be all about Teachers! As our kids head back to school after the holidays, it seems like a great time to honor amazing teachers who inspire us. Since we have really just started this amazing company called Flagology, those of you who are following us on our blog or on Facebook have a really good chance of winning in January!
So tell us all about a teacher – yours, your child’s, a friend – whomever inspires you. It can be anyone who has taught you.
We are looking for people who make a difference in all kinds of ways. We’ll take entries on Facebook or by online using our nomination form – and announce a winner of a year’s worth of flags (one per month) on the final Tuesday of the month – January 28th, 2014.
Imagine what a teacher could do with these flags:
– the possibilities are limitles!!
If you want to nominate a teacher who has passed away – or if you just have no idea where he/she lives any more, but he/she made a huge difference in your life – no worries! If your Hero wins, you can give the flags to any non-profit in honor of him/her.
I’ll tell you about my Hero Teacher just to kick it off. He was the first teacher who made me think I was smart. He made me laugh when I was learning fractions by comparing “top-heavy fractions” to his favorite country singer. He made science interesting. And he was kind, every single day, to his students. To my hero, Mr. Gene Flanagan – I hope one of your fans out there nominates you! Oh, and Happy Birthday!
Love you all – thanks for being here with us as we bring smiles to our heroes.
Susan
