With the month of April being Autism Awareness Month, we wanted to highlight the amazing bond between a service dog and his owner for our pet blog this week. Because autism is assessed on a spectrum every diagnosis and treatment path can be different, but for some autistic children, having a service dog can be calming, provide a sense of safety, and help aid in social development.
